American flag, flag of Spain, ladder and Spanish Hacienda Blockhouse. Troops include 11 Rough Riders, Colonel Teddy Roosevelt, 10 10th Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers and Sergeant George Berry, Lieutenant John J. Pershing, 12 70-First New York Regiment Troops, and 24 Spanish soldiers in light blue-gray representing Rayadillo uniforms. Blockhouse measures 16.9"W x 13"D x 9.25"H. Features snap-together assembly and a new front door. Roof is removable, walls can be used separately as a ruined blockhouse. Covered porch assembly doubles as a Mediterranean-style pavilion. Buildings and accessories are constructed from fairly hard, very durable polypropylene plastic. Figures are constructed from HDPE and LDPE plastic, have medium detail, little flashing, and stand up to 2.4" tall. All figures and pieces are approximately 1:32 scale. This playset was first offered by BMC Toys in 1999 and hasn't been manufactured in over 10 years. The 2020 release features improved color and additional accessories including a front door and historically accurate flag.
