Introducing the Yamaha NP-35 'Piaggero' portable keyboard

Improving on the already popular Yamaha NP-32, the NP-35 is the perfect beginner keyboard. At just over a metre in length with 76 keys, it’s lightweight frame and smaller footprint is ideal for schools or homes with limited space.

The NP35 is not only light under the arm, but is also lighter under the fingers so younger players, beginners, or anyone concerned that finger strength will be a barrier can still have fun playing the piano. Featuring a pair of speakers surprisingly powerful for its compact size, you are also able to plug headphones in for silent practice.

A minimalist design is intuitive to operate, from the 15 different voices to the inbuilt metronome and 6 reverb options, everything you need is at your fingertips. With the option of mains or battery operation, you have the flexibility to take it with you anywhere.

At just 6 kgs, the NP-35 is extremely lightweight, even for a portable keyboard. Its small size also makes it easy to set up and pack away without any extra hassle.

The Piaggero features the sound of a Yamaha full concert grand and was sampled with a bright, transparent tone, a spacious treble, and an overall solid sonic feel.

Yamaha's acoustic technology gives this keyboard resonant, grand piano style bass notes and beautifully detailed treble notes, producing a more powerful sound than you would expect considering its compact size.

The NP-35 is equipped with a larger amplifier than the NP-15 which will provide you with a more robust bass and greater overall volume.

Plug your headphones in and play silently at any time of day or night. Also a great feature for the classroom, each student can practice without disturbing their neighbouring classmates.
